My work is centred on people — their expressions, gestures, and the small details that reveal who they are. I work mainly with pencil and coloured pencils, often layered over acrylic, allowing me to build texture, depth, and fine detail slowly and carefully.
I’m interested in character rather than perfection. Sometimes that means exaggeration, sometimes realism, but always honesty. A look, a posture, or a slight distortion can say more than an exact likeness. My aim is to capture something recognisable and human — the personality behind the face.
